Buying, selling or plating a used vehicle?
You’ll likely need a Safety Standards Certificate. We inspect to the provincial standard and give you a straight answer: pass, must fix to pass, or advice that can wait.
- Needed when a used vehicle changes hands in Ontario (spousal transfers excepted)
- Valid for 36 days after the inspection
